Anoushka Shakar was an American and British sitarist. She was the first person within her age bracket to be awarded an award from the British House of Commons Staff. Anoushka is the emerging star of Indian sitar. She is the student and daughter to Ravi Shankar. Born in London, she spent the first few years of her life traveling between London and New Delhi.
